On September 1, 2017, Fishbowl employees gathered at the headquarters of Utah Girls Love You (UGLY) in Pleasant Grove to organize donated clothes, repaint part of the building, and perform other bits of service. This was all part of the 9th annual Fishbowl Day of Service.In addition to this, about a dozen Fishbowl employees went over to the Pleasant Grove City offices and did some weeding and yardwork. Fishbowl recently received a note from Deon Giles, the Parks & Recreation Director for Pleasant Grove. It’s a real treat for Fishbowl to receive something like this in recognition of its efforts to serve the community, so we’d like to share it with you.(more…)
Fishbowl loves to serve! Every year the company takes one day off from its normal business operations to have its employees leave the office and go out into the community to serve those in need. We call it the Fishbowl Day of Service.The 9th annual Fishbowl Day of Service will be held on September 1, 2017, and it will focus on helping the UTAH GIRLS LOVE YOU (UGLY) organization. Fishbowl’s 8th annual Day of Service came and went on Friday, July 15, 2016. Fishbowl’s employees left the office that day and went into the nearby mountains to clean up and restore the Theater in the Pines. It was a wonderful experience.(more…)

Bryan Byrge encouraged everyone to “Live Big.” He lived by those words, and even though he’s no longer with us, we honor his memory by participating in the Live Big Challenge.This year’s Live Big Challenge will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2015.Those that are not interested in biking at all are welcome to come from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be plenty of music, food trucks, and activities for kids. A Memorial Walk around the field will be at noon followed by a raffle and auction. Also, come meet James (The Iron Cowboy) Lawrence and listen to his story of achieving the impossible challenge of completing 50 Iron Man challenges in all 50 states in 50 days in his quest to uplift and inspire. This is the perfect story of how to Live Big!The organizers of this event have something special in store for cyclists. Not only will there be a nice, flat 20-mile course and a 40-mile somewhat mountainous course, but this year there is going to be a 101-mile Epic Loop! That last one will definitely live up to its name.All of these races will begin at the Orem Cemetery Field at approximately 1200 North 800 East in Orem, Utah.(more…)
On Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. MDT Fishbowl will host a donation drive called Operation Give, which will send relief supplies to Iraqi Christians and many other refugees who have been driven from their homes by ISIS.Thousands of Christians, Yazidis, and other people have been forced to flee for their lives because of the advance of ISIS militants into Iraq and Syria. To relieve their suffering, a former U.S. Army interrogator named Paul Holton has helped organize Operation Give and has already raised $20,000.
