The company went through many CEOs before finding its current leader: John David King. With decades of experience in sales, King revolutionized Fishbowl’s sales strategy and led his team to success for many years before finally taking the reins as CEO in 2017.
Early in the company’s history, he and his associates realized there was a huge market for inventory software among QuickBooks users. Thus, Fishbowl became one of the first companies to receive Intuit’s Gold Developer Status, which is the highest honor it gives to third-party software developers.
