November 16, 2015
I’m excited to share another post in the Did You Know blog series. Let’s continue going in-depth on Fishbowl’s software features by talking about the helpful “How To” button.

How To Use This Button

The How To button in the Fishbowl interface is a helpful tool for users, Fishbowl BlogThe answer to just about any question about using Fishbowl’s software is literally at your fingertips. No matter what module you’re currently in, you’ll find a nice How To button near the top of the interface. If you can’t seem to figure out how to use a feature in that module or you have some other question, all you have to do is push that How To button. A Web browser will pop up with the appropriate Fishbowl Wiki article for the module you clicked from. And at the top of the article, you’ll find quick links that send you to different parts of the page. So all you have to do is find the specific area you’re having trouble with, click it, and then you’ll likely find exactly what you’re looking for. For example, I was recently using the software and when I clicked on the How To button from the Part module, it brought up the Part article. From there, I clicked on the “Part types” quick link and learned about all the different categories parts can be classified under. That was easy.
