Adventurous Fishbowl Employees Visit the Taj Mahal

Fishbowl employees Alex Rose and Jeff Bullough visit the Taj Mahal, Fishbowl Blog Two Fishbowl employees recently visited the Taj Mahal in India. Alex Rose and Jeff Bullough, who work in Fishbowl’s Training & Support and Development departments, respectively, exemplify Fishbowl’s adventurous spirit. They went to India to meet with representatives from a nonprofit organization called NEI (Nutrition and Education International). NEI was formed in 2003 in Afghanistan. So, if you’re following me, two employees at a Utah-based company flew to New Delhi, India to train people from Afghanistan on how to use Fishbowl software.

A Noble Endeavor

“Dr. Steven Kwon, who is the founder and president of NEI, joined us for a couple hours on the first day of training to fill us in on some information about what he does, and why it is significant,” Alex says. “His No. 1 goal is to fight malnutrition and hunger in Afghanistan. He mentioned numerous times about the war that is happening over there, and that there are plenty who are in need. There are families who are getting torn apart and destroyed by the Taliban, and he is helping to make sure they stay fed, as well as teaching them how to farm soy so they can continue to prosper in the years to come.” Alex and Jeff learned that one in every 10 children will die before the age of 5 due to malnutrition in Afghanistan. Dr. Kwon started NEI hoping to put an end to this suffering. Truly a noble endeavor. And Fishbowl is proud to be a part of it.

Fishbowl Is Going Global

There are Fishbowl software versions available in the United States, Canada, and Australia and New Zealand. But there are also companies in many other countries that use the manufacturing and warehouse management software. While Fishbowl may not be on the cusp of handling inventory for the actual Taj Mahal, if you want to track your haul of parts and products in your warehouses, Fishbowl might just be an ideal solution for you.
