Fishbowl’s Musical Christmas

December 24, 2014
Music is the best part of Christmas. Of course, so are the presents, decorations, food, spirit, family connections, and virtually every other part of Christmas. That’s why it is the best holiday of the year! Enjoy some delightful Christmas Carols from Fishbowl, Fishbowl BlogChristmas brings out people’s creativity and captures our imaginations in a way that other holidays never quite do. So I am going to share three fun parodies of Christmas Carols/Poems I have written over the past four years. I hope you like them. I Saw Three Shipments – “I Saw Three Ships” may not be as synonymous with Christmas as other carols, but it’s got a beautiful melody. And most of the verses lend themselves quite well to talking about order management. Once in Loyal David’s Fishbowl – Loyalty is one of the 7 Non-Negotiables, which are at the heart of how Fishbowl operates. So it was really a no-brainer to write a song about how he worked to save Fishbowl by putting it to the tune of “Once in Royal David’s City.” ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at Fishbowl – I was still new at Fishbowl when I decided to write this humorous ode to our company’s tradition of having Santa Claus visit our office. The results are quite funny. Merry Christmas, everyone! May your holidays be filled with hope, happiness, and peace.
