PO Is the Master at Purchasing from Vendors

March 7, 2014
You don’t have to be a Kung Fu master to purchase products from vendors. But it certainly doesn’t hurt. Po the panda is a great example to businesses, Fishbowl Inventory BlogIn previous blog posts, I’ve creatively talked about MO (Manufacture Order) and SO (Sales Order). Now it’s PO’s turn. Po, the Kung Fu Panda himself, is here to show Purchase Orders who’s boss. I can’t wait to get started.

There’s No Charge for Awesomeness

A purchase order is a document that a buyer sends to a seller, indicating what products they want to buy and in what quantities. Purchase orders also include the address products should be shipped to, each product’s cost, total order cost, the date the order was sent, and its estimated fulfillment date. You can even add a line noting that there is no charge for awesomeness, if you want.

There Is No Secret Ingredient

There is no secret ingredient to the perfect PO. Every business requires slightly different information in its PO to convey essential instructions. As long as it includes all the points you need it to, it will be just fine.

There Are No Accidents

As Master Oogway would say, POs ensure there are no accidents. You’ll always be able to tell exactly which orders have been placed, which ones need to be placed, and which ones are arriving on a daily basis when you use Fishbowl Inventory to manage all of your POs.

Inner Peace

Whether you seek inner peace or the inner piece of a complicated machine, you can use POs to obtain it. It is a big stress relief to have such a complex part of your business streamlined and automated. It prevents errors from creeping into your inventory and accounting records, and it keeps your operations humming with just the right inflow of parts and products.

The Stuff of Legends

By using POs, you will make sure your legendary order fulfillment skills become the stuff of legends.
