A Quick Way to Update Your Fishbowl Inventory License Key

With the release of Fishbowl Inventory 2014 it’s time to think about updating your product license key to get the new software update. And right in time for that Fishbowl has created a new tool to make this process even simpler. Rather than calling your account manager and getting your new license key that way, now you can simply go to a new Web page on the Fishbowl Inventory website to instantly update your license key. All you have to do is copy and paste that license key into a textbox on the page and then click the Submit button under it. You’ll then be given a new license key and your old one will be nullified. You must meet the following criteria to use this new tool:

• You have mailed or scanned and emailed the License Agreement to your account manager, and they marked it as received.
• Your account is paid in full.
• You have a current support maintenance contract with Fishbowl.
• You only have one active license key.

As long as these four requirements are met, you shouldn’t have any problem updating your license key in seconds. If you do run into an error message, contact your account manager and they should be able to help you.
