Here is a video of Kendrick Hair, a Fishbowl product manager, explaining how to use Fishbowl’s point of sale solution SalesPoint in your business. He also shows why it’s so important to have a user-friendly POS system to help you accept payments through customers’ cash, checks and credit cards. Enjoy!

Robert – We’ve been a Fishbowl Inventory user since mid-2008. Darn good product! For POS, we are using RMS. RMS’s days are numbered, and we are looking hard at SalesPoint. But here is a key capability of RMS, based on its batch approach to retail stores: If the connection to the server is down, we can still process sales, and then resynch when the server comes back up. Does Fishbowl have anything in the works that might allow the SalesPoint client to operate independently in this manner?
Thanks.
Larry,
Thank you for asking. I will talk to our Development team and get you an answer as soon as possible. Thanks for reading the Fishbowl Blog, by the way!
Sincerely,
Robert Lockard
